The Jane Harvest
The City Book 1
by A Nicky Hjort
Genre: SciFi Fantasy
Winning battles means Ink honors, prestige, and life itself. …Yet nobody understands what losing truly means.
On another planet two hundred years in the future, twenty-one-year-old Isla Jane struggles helplessly to figure out who she is and what her world really means. Marked with a forbidden tattoo of the rising sun, she is a natural champion of humanity and a gifted warrior in Heats–lavish battles fought in the conjoined minds of the participants for the morbid amusement of the masses.
Despite Isla’s desire to fade into the background, she emerges as an obvious leader of her people when the senseless assassination of a youth forces her to face the truth. Her volatile world, disguised by its elaborate battles and constant mayhem, is a prison without bars and a coffin, the lid already half-closed, that they must escape.
But when she vows to find a way to bring her people back home, Isla will have to deconstruct consciousness and the very nature of the space time continuum to unravel good from evil, truth from lies, and survival from true love.
Welcome to the City–where it takes lives to save lives…
A. Nicky Hjort is originally from Arlington, Texas- the second of five siblings, all of whom have strong creative talents. She currently lives in coastal central California where she practices medicine as an Ob/GYN. In between being a lovingly devoted mother and delivering babies, she writes stories that cross multiple genre lines- from Sci Fi to high fantasy, but all of her stories have thriller and strong romantic components. And for her clever reader, all of her manuscripts are subtly connected to each other, with their purpose to explore all facets of Love and Light. She likes to say that her stories write themselves, and in the process, often write her, or at least the next version of her hoping to emerge. A lover of all the arts, A. Nicky Hjort hopes her stories might inspire you to find your inner creative genius.
As for her heroes- they are as varied and eclectic as her choice of narrative genres, but when pushed to list her favorite influences, she would say James Patterson, Barbara Kingsolver, Patricia Cornwell, Dean Koonntz, Gene Roddenberry, Shel Silverstein, Suzanne Collins, and Walt Disney.
She thanks you for your attention to her work.

place where packs of Mimick dogs, Wyverns and Jaculus still run wild.

who will have to make a life changing choice. The question weighing
on all their minds is if two werewolves, the Incubus King, and a

to enter the Otherworld?
Valerie Willis is a sixth generation Floridian who loves crafting novels with
elements inspired by Mythology, Superstitions, Legends, Folklore,
Fairy Tales and even history. She braved the Independent Publish
route at the end of 2012 and has devoted herself for being a pillar
of “Self-Publishing How-to” from formatting of both print and
digital versions to book cover designs.

Her fantasy romance novels within The Cedric Series is a wonderful blend
of genres that appeal to a wide-range of readers whether they like
paranormal, fantasy, romance or action adventure. The characters are
flawed in mental and emotional ways while being amazing powerful
creatures, demons, witches and Gods. Many of the monsters presented
in battle derive from Medieval Bestiaries and adds a fun flavor of
new yet deeply rooted assortment of creatures such as Coin Iotair,
Shag Foal, Cynocephali, and many more.

For Young Adult readers looking for a Dark Fantasy and coming-of-age
lessons, Tattooed Angels Trilogy is an ode to her teenage life for
those teenagers getting ready to step out in the world on their own.
Hotan is a failed reincarnation and is becoming immortal against his
will. Life is complicated and often we withdraw within ourselves,
shut others out, when life becomes hard. As the story unfolds we
learn the importance of opening up and asking for support in all its
forms to the people in our lives even beyond friends and family. Each
immortal controls amazing powers of Nature, like fire, or elements of
Humanity, such as fear.

a look at ‘Seeds of Intention’ by Andrea Thome #ContemporaryRomance @AndreaThome @SDSXXTours

Seeds of Intention
Hesse Creek Series Book 2
by Andrea Thome
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Is it more important to have roots, or wings?

Garrett Oliver has
just settled into his job as heir apparent to one of the most
renowned master gardeners in the country. After a difficult few
years, he’s found a home and a renewed purpose at a famed resort in
the secluded Smoky Mountains. The stars seem to be aligning for
Garrett as he plans a future with his college sweetheart and
envisions a simple life with her in the mountains of East
Tennessee.
Willow Armstrong, fresh off a painful breakup, is
coming home to Knoxville to care for her ailing father. She finds
herself in the right place at the right time, landing a dream job
alongside Garrett—as his boss. As they are thrown together by their
work, an undeniable magnetism grows between them, despite the fact
that Garrett is ready to start a future with someone
else.
Circumstances persist in drawing them closer, and
an unexpected opportunity in Colorado prompts Willow and Garrett to
wonder if a life together out west might be beyond anything either of
them had dared to imagine.
I’m a former broadcast journalist, having covered both sports and news
during my career. (That’s how I met my husband; I interviewed him on
MLB opening day in 1995, and the rest is history.) I temporarily
retired when we had our children, so I could be home with them
full-time while they’re young. We have a fourteen-year-old daughter,
a nine-year-old son, and two cats that we spoil rotten.
This seemed like the perfect time in my life to jump back into doing
something I love; writing and telling stories. No one was more
surprised than me when I ended up with 65,000 words in my lap last
spring! I called it Walland, and it was published in August of 2016.
My second book, Seeds of Intention will be published on September 5,
2017, and as we speak, I’ve started to write a new book, the third in
the Hesse Creek Series.
In my spare time, I love photography and travel, preferably at the same
time. My novels are inspired by favorite places I’ve traveled, each
of which have left vivid footprints on my imagination. I believe a
book can be steamy and sexy, while still keeping it classy. I also
love to infuse my characters with great senses of humor.
